S.T. Lee Antarctic Reading Room
The Antarctic-themed Reading Room at the southern end of Level 5 of the Library is designed to showcase the Centre’s unique identity, significant work, and its contribution to the University’s teaching and research excellence.
The room was funded by Dr Lee Seng Tee, a Singapore philanthropist. The room highlights the significance of Antarctica to New Zealand for Library users. When not in use for functions and seminars, the room is available for quiet individual study.
The room features a display of items from the Colin Bull polar collection.
